TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of TumbleBooks – animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. |

Make a difference by running for West Ridge's Local School Council
All parents and community members who want to strengthen West Ridge Elementary School and help boost student achievement are encouraged to run for the Local School Council (LSC). LSC members are elected by parents and community residents in an election that takes place every two years. The 2012 elections will take place at all elementary schools from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. on April 18. |

West Ridge Elementary School Middle School Students are Reading for Rewards!
West Ridge Elementary School is proud to announce the December results of the Ticket to Reading Rewards program for students in grades six through eight. The Ticket to Reading Rewards program aspires to motivate students to read outside the classroom and help students set college as their educational goals. The Ticket to Reading Rewards program was started in 2002 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches Foundation in partnership with Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education. |
