Calling All Girls in Grades 4 - 8 
West Ridge invites all girls in grades 4 - 8 to join us for Uniquely Me! workshop series. Girls will participate in healthy living and team building activities. They will engage in games, role playing, participate in fun fitness exercises, complete a service project and much more! |

Family Science Night: West Ridge's Art Cover Contest
West Ridge Elementary School is hosting its annual Family Science Night on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6 pm – 8pm. The theme of the event is Going Green. In anticipation of this exciting night we are inviting all students to enter the West Ridge’s Art Cover Contest for a chance to see their artwork on the Family Science Night Program Book and on posters throughout the school. |

Six Flags Great America Read to Succeed Program
West Ridge Elementary School is participating in the Six Flags Great America Read to Succeed Program for students in grades K – 6. Read to Succeed is a free educational program sponsored by Six Flags to inspire kids in grades K through 6 to engage in recreational reading. Students who complete six hours of recreational, non-school-related reading are eligible to earn a free admission ticket to a participating Six Flags theme park. |

TumbleBooks-Online Collection of Books
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of TumbleBooks – animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. |
